Divisions

B. Braun has divided its business into four divisions:

• Hospital Care equips hospitals and is a leader in products for patient care and clinical treatment of patients
• Aesculap is the world leader in hand-held surgical instruments and is a partner of surgery and interventional cardiology
• Out Patient Market (OPM) takes care of the patient care outside the hospital setting and the chronically ill or long-term patients
• B. Braun Avitum is one of three global full-service providers in extracorporeal blood treatment
